If you want an amazing view, something a bit old and rustic, then the gassaway mansion is the perfect place to have your wedding at. I was just blown away with the beauty of this wedding venue in greenville, sc. However, I quite upset that we didn’t have enough time to make full use of the gassaway mansion.
We originally started out at the hotel, since we could not come to the gassaway mansion until 3:00 pm. This also leads to another issue; the wedding dress arrived late once we got to the mansion.
Being a 2nd shooter, I had the privilege to shoot Logan (groom) and his crew at the hotel. We started at the home2 hotel in downtown greenville, sc. The rooms were a bit too tight for me, so I had to pop in my wide lens and only use my good lens when I really need it.
After getting the basic shots of Logan and his groomsmen getting ready, I suggested that we take the boys outside for some relaxation and crazy photo session time. It was getting a bit too stuffy inside the hotel
We couldn’t arrive at the gassaway mansion until after 3 pm. I am not entirely sure why that was, but it meant we didn’t’ have enough time to get any solo shots of the bride/groom portrait session. As soon as we got there, we had to wait a bit, since Chesla’s dress did not arrive yet, so we lost some time there.
I hope that the way I set up this post makes it easy for you to see everything. I split them up in part of the day, so it’s easier to manage. Also, stick around for the last section. Got some goodies down there for you!
