Fun Engagement Photos in North GA
We had a blast doing these fun engagement photos in Poole’s Mill Bridge Park in Ball Ground, GA. Kimberly and Jeremy were a fantastic couple that was up for anything I asked. They were confused about what they needed to do for the session.
Luckily, they had me as their photographer and explained what they should be doing. Nothing hard, relax, and have a good time. One of the hardest thing for any couple to be doing haha.
Poole's Mill Bridge Park - Ball Ground, GA
We made arrangements to get together at Poole’s Mill Bridge Park in Ball Ground, GA. I had no idea where this place was, Kimberly had made the suggestion.
Poole’s Mill Bridge Park is located just north of Atlanta, GA, just about an hour’s drive.
I scouted the area out before arriving there on google maps and was quite excited that they had an old covered bridge as well as a tiny waterfall.
Being to the location early then Kimberly & Jeremy, I decided to scout it out a bit. To get some idea of where we can start shooting.
I didn’t want to shoot anything since it was a kid’s playground. So we started in the back where it was quiet and nobody around.
Fun Engagement Photos
One of the hardest parts when doing an engagement session is the fact the couples feel a bit awkward with the photographer. Which I would be the same; it’s just human nature.
Trust us, guys, we know, and we can see it in the camera. Nothing to be afraid of, that’s why I always start by making them act out a scene. Once I see couples more relaxed and ok with me shooting around, I then start to make them pose a bit. And at the end of the session, we did just that during the waterfall scene.
